2018 WSGA Senior Championship

Entries are being accepted for the 33rd Annual WSGA Senior Championship, which will be contested October 16-18 at Reunion Country Club in Madison, MS.

Entry into the event is open to golfers 50 and over with the field limited to 112 players. Entries will be accepted until September 14, according to Entry Chairman Susan Hall.

Reunion is located in the beautiful, gently rolling hills of Madison, Ms. on the historic Annandale Plantation. The course, which was created by legendary designer Bob Cupp, takes advantage of every aspect of the wooded acreage on which it was built. It features a well-balanced mix of long, rolling fairways, challenging doglegs and superb greens.

Registration for the championship will be held Monday, October 15 with practice rounds available that day. A Welcome Party will be held that evening in the beautiful, newly-opened Reunion Country Club Clubhouse.

The first of 3 days of stroke play will begin Tuesday, October 16 and continue Wednesday, October 17 and Thursday, October 18. An Awards Luncheon will be held following the last round.

Defending WSGA Senior Champion is Lisa Schlesinger of Gaithersburg, MD. The defending Super Senior Champion is Taffy Brower of Boynton Beach, FL., who has won that title the past 3 years. Brower also captured the WSGA Senior title in 2004 and 2012.
